AMU Math 111 college trigonomtery week 4 forum American Military University

#1

We should be working on trying to collect online resources to help clarify the topics that we are studying.

To get us into "trig mode", I'd appreciate it if each of you could take a few minutes and try to find a good, clear online explanation of one of the types of problems that we are doing this week. Here's a sample to get you started:

http://www.clarku.edu/~djoyce/trig/

Topic 1: Finding good supplemental materials online

Start looking for websites that you really like. Give the rest of us the complete URL of the website and a website review. Include what you really like about the site such as interactivity, games, or really clear explanations.

P.S. Don't forget to prowl around YouTube and TeacherTube - there are lots of math videos on both of them!

Instructions: Your initial post should be at least 250 words. Please respond to at least 2 other students. Your responses should help develop discussion around the topic that your classmate has selected. Responses should be a minimum of 100 words and may include direct questions.

Initial Post Due: Thursday, by 11:55pm, ET
Responses Due: Sunday, by 11:55pm, ET
